Tesla claims its new solar inverter is much cheaper than the competition

 Tesla released a white paper on its new string solar inverter and claims that it's much cheaper than contending inverter results from Enphase and SolarEdge.

In 2021, Tesla launched its own solar inverter for the first time.

The white paper reads more like a trade folder than a scientific paper, but it does n’t mean that the data is inaccurate.

Doh- the whole point of individual panel optimizers is that the performance of the whole string isn't impacted if indeed a single panel has shadowing issues if you choose a roof with no similar issues also a binary string inverter will be enough much as effective.
