The first shipment since the start of the war. Yemen exports 500, 000 barrels of oil from Shabwah من موقع المصدر اونلاين، بتاريخ اليوم الأربعاء 1 أغسطس 2018 .

The oil and minerals Ministry announced Tuesday the success of the first export of crude oil through the oil port of Radhom, south of the eastern province of Shabwah, according to a statement issued by the Ministry.

According to the state news agency Saba, the export of the first consignment of oil from the port of Rdhom, after the reproduction of the S2 sector in the northern capital of Ataq, since April 1, was reported by the Ministry.

According to the report, 500,000 barrels of crude oil were exported after being marketed globally, with 35 global companies participating in the international bidding, which was won by the Chinese company Katy Petroleum, depending on the highest price provided according to the Brent oil exchange.

It noted that the Shabwah Governorate would receive its high rate (20%) From government revenue from sales of crude oil produced from the province, as in other oil governorates.

It would continue its efforts to reactivate the remaining oil sectors in the governorates of Hadramawt, Ma'rib, and Shabwah as part of its contribution to the normalization of life in the liberated areas and governorates.

The export operation from various oil sectors in Yemen, in the provinces of Shabwah, Hadramawt (southeastern) and eastern part of the country, was halted with the outbreak of the war, prompting oil companies to leave the country.
